Increase your Energy with Thyroid Supplements

Many people take thyroid medications because blood tests say they produce low thyroid hormone.  Many people who are tired and fatigued but have normal thyroid blood tests will benefit from the nutritional address of the thyroid.

In fact many people who are on thyroid hormone supplements due to the low thyroid blood test can recover so that there is no need to take the hormone.  Of course their MD must stop the prescription not me.  What is cool is that the person has more "get up and go" than when he was taking the hormone.

In other words, the hormone has only a limited benefit in most cases.  Certainly there are a few people who have to take the hormone as their thyroid gland cannot be revived.  Most of you can be revived and energized with specialized nutritional programs.

Here are two success stories of people who were on thyroid hormone therapy because of low thyroid levels based on blood tests:

"I came to Dr. Spearman with thyroid problems and sleep troubles.  At the time, I was taking 120 milligrams of thyroid hormone a day.  After several months of working with Dr. Spearman, I was able to get my MD to take me completely off of the thyroid hormone, and my thyroid is strong!  This is totally amazing, and I am so thankful for all Dr. Mike's help in making me feel better in so many ways.  His programs are great and they WORK!!

Thanks again, Debbie"

"I can't tell you how much better I feel since taking the supplements for thyroid and getting off thyroid meds.  I feel like I'm getting my muscles back, am more relaxed, and it's easier to move.

Here are some other success stories of people that may or may not have had low blood thyroid hormone but benefited from nutritional treatment that included supplements for the thyroid:

"Dr. Spearman has helped me a great deal.  In particular, when I came to him I had been struggling with an alarming goiter for several years and had never been able to solve it. (a goiter is a swollen thyroid that can be seen as a protrusion in the lower front of the neck usually to one side or the other)

Using his understanding of the body and potential causes of such a condition, he recommended a series of supplements that have indeed improved  the goiter and taken the swelling out of it.  He's made several other recommendations in the course of my visit's and I can attest my body is in FAR better shape now than when I started to see him.

Sarah L."

"I had hit bottom rock-bottom, physically, for me which included no energy, 'depression?' (are you kidding me? I am a poster boy for psychiatric drugs)   Just really DOWN.  Skeptically accepted Dr. Spearman's diagnosis and supplements.  Within 3 days I was back to having energy, interest, and HOPE.  Stupid THYROID.  Bodies are machinery and the thyroid part was wearing out.

 Thanks Mike-great job.  SG"

This last success had a quick recovery but this person had felt good until just a few months ago.

In 1939 Henry Harrower, M.D., wrote a book on the endocrine system.  He was using hormones and getting improvement.  He noted in his writing many SYMPTOMS of low thyroid even when the thyroid hormone count was normal on blood test.

Here are the possible symptoms of slightly low thyroid per Dr. Harrower. dry hair and skin, brittle thick coarse nails, premature graying or falling hair, vague muscular aches and pains, degenerative arthritis( arthritis refers to joint problems), restlessness, nervousness, insomnia, chronic headache, fatigue of the eye muscles associated with possible vague headache, dizziness, odd nerve sensations and bulging eyeballs, swelling of the lining of the nose and throat, annoying sensations in the ear due to swelling at the opening of the internal ear canal into the upper throat, increased pulse rate (72 is normal under relaxed conditions for non athletes but may vary some) weak heart muscle based on electrocardiograph readouts, increased cholesterol, obstinate constipation with low tone of the colon, all types of indigestion, impotence and sterility in both male and female, intolerance to cold, subnormal temperature (often called Wilson's syndrome or disease), lack of thirst and hyperhydrosis (waterlogged), obesity and certain blood cell findings including a particular kind of anemia.

With a list like this it is possible that mild thyroid dysfunction is one of the most prevalent abnormal health conditions.  As you saw in the success stories many people respond extremely well to nutrition.  Exactly what nutrition will help you will vary from the next person.  Fortunately or unfortunately your body is a one-of-kind, custom model.

Come in to the office.  There is a good chance your health can improve significantly.
